An employment agency fee is paid by a company to an employment agency when it successfully finds a suitable employee with that employer.

In the case of employer-paid remuneration, the employer pays remuneration to the agency, so the employee pays nothing.
Fees paid by the applicant are less common and are usually requested as part of the worker’s hourly pay for the duration of the contract.
