Home Dictionary H HyperText Markup Language (HTML) Hyper Text Markup Language (HTML) is the primary scripting language used by web browsers to display pages on the World Wide Web. HyperText allows the user to click on a link and be redirected to the new page that the link refers to. Early versions of HTML were static (Web 1.0), while newer versions have a lot of dynamic flexibility (Web 2.0, 3.0).
