Japan ETF is an exchange-traded fund that invests in Japanese assets traded on local stock exchanges. Like other ETFs, shares are traded on stock exchanges in the same way as corporate shares. Japan is home to a number of major indexes tracked by ETFs, as well as others that track the strategies and currencies of small and mid-cap stocks. Investors can access the Japanese market and economy by buying shares in ETFs rather than stocks or other securities. The market for Japanese ETFs is smaller compared to others such as the US.
