An open-ended investment company (OEIC) is a type of fund traded in the United Kingdom, similar to an open-ended mutual fund in the US.

OEIC offer a professionally managed portfolio of pooled investor funds that invest in a variety of stocks, bonds and other securities.
OEICs are assessed once a day based on the net asset value of their portfolio’s underlying assets.
Most OEICs incur a sales fee and an annual management fee, known as an indicator of current fees.
