• OsMA is a combination of an oscillator and the moving average of that oscillator. It measures the distance between these two values.

  • Any oscillator and any of its moving averages (MA) can be used to create an OsMA.
  • MA (oscillator) move slower than the oscillator. Thus, an increase in OsMA is a bullish signal as prices rise and vice versa.
  • When OsMA moves from negative to positive, it may indicate the beginning of an uptrend; When OsMA turns from positive to negative, it may indicate the start of a downtrend.
  • As a rule, a positive value of OsMA helps to confirm an uptrend in the price, and a negative value helps to confirm a downtrend.
