A waiver occurs when one party refuses to honor a contract with the other party. Often the party making the withdrawal is unable to fulfill its obligations set out in the contract due to financial difficulties. Violation of the contract can be settled in court. An innocent party in a refusal situation can terminate the contract or leave it in force in the hope of resolving the problem.
