• The Long Term Care Insurance Association of America is a non-profit professional association headquartered in Westlake Village, California that was formed in 1998 to promote the importance of Long Term Care Needs Planning (LTC). The association was formed to (1) raise consumer awareness of the need and benefits of owning individual and employer-sponsored LTC insurance; (2) provide support and up-to-date information to agents, brokers, financial professionals and insurers participating in the LTC insurance market; (3) serve as a forum for members to meet, exchange information, and support efforts to improve the market for LTC products; (4) provide sales-related training and savings on LTC insurance-related products and services and develop general consumer information that complements company-sponsored programs; and (5) support manufacturer certification programs that are of high quality and affordable to the greatest number of professionals.
