• The Bingo Card program is a legacy system for registering interstate motor carriers to verify that they have the proper operating authorization and motor vehicle liability insurance to operate in interstate commerce. Identification stamps (known as bingo stamps) from all the states in which the carrier operated and fulfilled its requirements were affixed to the taxi card, which was permanently in the vehicle. The bingo card program was replaced by the Unified State Registration System (EGRYU), which was subsequently replaced by the Unified Carrier Registration Agreement (ECRA) plan.
