• The Certain Transaction Exclusion Confirmation is used to exclude coverage under the General Commercial Liability (CGL) policy for specific transactions. An exception is the Designated Confirmation of Current Transactions (CG 21 53), which can be used to terminate coverage for either current transactions at a specified location or all ongoing transactions performed by or on behalf of a specified policyholder. An exception is certain transactions that are covered by the approval of the consolidated (subsequent) insurance program (CG 21 54), excluding transactions in relation to the listed projects for which the insured contractor was covered under the comprehensive insurance program. CG 21 53 can also be used to exclude only the contractor’s current operations under a master project, which retains coverage of completed operations for these projects since most master plan programs provide only limited coverage of completed operations.
