• Fire Liability Insurance – coverage of the tenant’s liability for damage caused by fire to the rented premises (including garages) occupied by the tenant; such coverage is usually provided as an exception to the policy exceptions applicable to property in the care, custody or control of the insured (CCC). Under the standard Commercial General Liability (CGL) policy, the named insured persons’ legal liability in connection with fire is covered under the “damage to your rented premises” limit.
