It is imperative to interview the worker and tactfully obtain from the worker a full description of how the accident developed, if the event occurred without witnesses, and also from any bystanders, in order to beware of manipulating the facts later. A full description allows the accident reenactor to comment on which parts of the body may actually have been affected by the fall, should a lawsuit become unavoidable.
